ABOUT THE
JUMP LEAGUE

The Jump League (TJL) is a national collegiate jump league where each region fields a team of the best athletes in that region, and scores are made by the top performances from its jumpers. This league brings together the best young talent across the nation, competing for a total prize of $1,000.
HOW IT WORKS

5 Regional Teams: West, South Central, Southeast, Northeast, and North Central.

Scoring System: Each team’s total score is calculated based on their top-performing jumpers.

Weekly Meets: Athletes compete in meets, and their best jumps contribute to individual and team rankings.

Competition Rules & Roster System
Roster Guidelines

Team Size: 6 starters, 2-4 alternates.
-
Minimum Starter Requirement: 15.10m jump required to secure a starting spot.

Alternates' Role: Replacements for starters who cannot compete in a given meet.

Active Jumpers Per Meet: 3 athletes compete weekly to contribute to team scores.

Substitutions: Teams can rotate the next best athletes in the region on tfrrs. If starters and alternates are unavailable.
Unique League Features
Relay-Style Jumps

3 jumpers combine their best jumps for a relay-style total.

Teams must field 3 athletes per meet to stay competitive.
Alternative System

If a top athlete is injured or unavailable, teams can replace them with an alternative jumper.
Leaderboard System

Individual Leaderboard – Ranks athletes by total jump points.

Regional Leaderboard – Ranks teams by combined top 5 jumpers’ scores.
Social Media Engagement

Weekly Power Rankings – Highlights the best teams and athletes.

Jumper of the Week – Fans vote for the most outstanding athlete each meet.
League Format
& Structure
The league is divided into five regional teams, each with six starters and four alternates. The total team score is determined by the top 3 weekly performances.
Scoring System & Standings
Team Scoring
Each team’s weekly score is determined by the top 3 performing jumpers.
Example – South East Team (Week 1 Performance):

Total Team Score for Week 1 = 48.10 points
Individual Scoring
Athletes' best jump from the meet determines their individual score.
Example – Meet 1:

Championship Meets & Prize Money
At the end of the season, the top two teams will compete in regional and national championships.
